If you are looking for a first-class provider of hurricane protection, Home Safety Solutions is the company to call! My experience from beginning to end was wonderful. It is clear that they value me as a customer. Lance, who is very knowledgeable and professional, came to my home and explained the best options within my budget. Angel, Kenny, and Berto installed my shutters and were very friendly and efficient.

I am very happy with my Bahama shutters! They have curb appeal and will help me achieve the look I envision for my home.

I couldn’t be happier with my new accordion storm shutters. This company is my most favorite company ever. They installed storm panels for me about 20 years ago, but recently I decided to get storm shutters instead, to make things easier for myself. Home Safety Solutions was great back then and they are fabulous, now.
All of my shutters except for one set were installed on Tuesday by ANGEL, Eddie, Randy, Brice, and Ken. (One set had not been delivered by the manufacturer, yet.) Then, on Thursday, ANGEL and Eddie came back to install the final set.
I had complete confidence in them, and they were a pleasure to work with, they kept the area clean, and were very nice guys. Angel answered any and all questions that I had and assured me that I could always call if anything came up that I needed or needed to know in the future. The same is true for the people in the office which is located in Oldsmar.
I absolutely love the new shutters, and I feel good about the fact that when a storm comes, I will be able to close them up myself with very little effort. They also do not detract from the appearance of my home.
This is a company that I can recommend without any reservations. In my book that is very important.

Long overdo review I just never got around to writing and forgot about. Had shutters installed last year early/mid summer (2024) and it was great. Spec'ed out a rough estimate on their website that wasn't far off from the actual. Actual estimate wasn't the cheapest, nor was it the highest -- Out of the three quotes I did get these guys were actually right in the middle. Wait time wasn't too bad either; we had to wait a month or so but I was expected longer to be honest. Install was quite, and took only a few hours which required no involvement from us. Everyone that I interacted with was personable and professional. Went away for a few weeks right before the two hurricanes hit and didn't have to worry about a thing re the windows and it takes 30 seconds to secure all of them. If I stay at this place another year I'd consider having them do shutters on my second story and if I could do it all over again I'd have these guys put the shutters on instead of doing impact windows. For the price, even with impact windows I would still have the shutters put on. Price was around $5.5K for shutters on five openings, and about 1/3 of that price was for two large openings (sliding glass door and one shutter unit over three smaller windows). The ONLY thing I'd mention that is neutral for me was putting caulk over the holes where you'd put the studs for the fabric shutters and didn't fill them with a cement or anything which is completely fine.

I'm thankful to Home Safety Solutions, for taking the time in helping me in selecting the right type of hurricane, doors and windows protection. I went with the hurricane fabric shield, which is cost effective in my case. Randy and Steve are true professionals, they took time to ensure I was comfortable with the entire process of the install. The entire Home Safety Solutions were great. I pray I never need the covers but I take solace in knowing I have them if I need them. Great people.

When looking for hurricane protection Home Safety Solutions is an excellent choice. From start to finish it was a great experience. Lance and Aaron came to the house to go over options and explained the entire process. Matt did the measurements. The A team Angel, Eddy & Kenny did an awesome install including cleaning up afterwards. Anne setup the final building inspection for the permit. I am absolutely thrilled with my new accordion shutters. They were worth every penny as I now have great peace of mind knowing when the next hurricane comes, we have protection. I would recommend this company to anyone. They certainly run a top-notch business.

Excellence all around! I cannot say enough good things about Troy, Anne, and their entire team.

I wanted multiple quotes for hurricane window coverings from providers that specialize in protection and eliminated window installers that also did shutters. A company in Clearwater was quickly out due to a bunch of recent negative google reviews. A company in Largo was difficult to work with. Home Safety Solutions was great from day 1. After I contacted them they immediately sent Lance to do their own measurements, and I had a detailed itemized quote the next day with a copy of contract terms and license info attached. Some time went by as I thought about what I wanted. When I contacted them again asking for a revised quote with an upgrade, they sent Matt to confirm their measurements. Their quotes were very good. Troy and Anne were open and up front about everything from the start. Lily and Laurie in the office were a pleasure to deal with. And when installation was scheduled I was told to expect the workers between 9:00 and 9:30. Angel was at my door at 8:45 saying a crew of 5 would need about 7 hours to do the job. They were done by 3:00, and the workmanship appears exquisite. And about an hour after they left, Anne was calling to confirm I was happy and to explain what would take place next regarding inspection. Their service and communication couldn’t be better.

They communicate everything up front, and are honest and fair. They seem to have excellent product and do excellent work. You can’t ask for more from a company. Thanks so much!

We ordered hurricane shutters for our third floor condo. Although it was a difficult task, these guys did a remarkable job. The shutters looks and run great, and we are very pleased with them. This company is 5 star in every way. All their employees are A plus. Communication and products are excellent. In my opinion the value for the service you receive as well as the hurricane protection is excellent. We had the screens for 14 years and recently had the accordion shutters installed. There's nothing better than the peace of mind these products offer to my family.
