One of the best adventure experiences I've ever had. Captain Bob is extremely professional and personable. He will teach you about the history of the area and the Reef as well as how to snorkle properly. Having the whole boat to ourselves made the whole experience even better for the wife and I. Quiet and relaxing was what we wanted....and that is exactly what we got. If you want loud and exciting....Bob can deliver that as well. We took a 3.5 hour 2 location snorkle tour. Truly amazing. So many fish around us...it was beautiful. Bob's equipment is clean and works perfectly. His boat is also very clean and extremely comfortable.

We had a great experience with Bob! While the weather was windy and we were not able to see Christ of the Abyss, we had an excellent time at the reef! Bob was very knowledgeable - a great captain and boat driver 🙂 - and it made our trip so memorable! It was so nice to go out with just our family and not with 40 others! 🙂

Had a great private snorkeling trip with family & captain Bob. He had all the items needed to make it a great experience, booking was easy, parking easy, and finding the dock all easy. Only thing that was out of Captain Bob's control was how choppy the water was. With that said, we still had a great time and he made sure to pick an area where we'd do best with the wind. I was worried going on the boat with 2 little kids but Captain Bob was truly amazing. When we got off the boat, the kids were asking me if we could go on the boat again on the next day. Thank you so much, Captain Bob! I would recommend it for anyone who would like to have more private snorkeling experience!

What an awesome morning of snorkeling the reefs. Captain Bob was professional and very knowledgeable. He provided us high quality snorkel gear and got us on our way over to the reefs. It was a bit windier than usual so he made sure it was safe enough for us to head out and found some protected spots for us to explore. He has a GoPro available for use and will download the footage you took and share so you can capture your experience. The private tour is an awesome way to stay safe and experience the reefs with your own party. 100% would recommend anyone interested in snorkeling the reefs to go out with Capt Bob over at Snorkel the Keys.

Professional, FUN, captivating, memorable. These are just a few words I would use to describe the experience my girlfriend and I had on our snorkeling excursion with "Snorkel the Keys." My girlfriend and I visited the Florida Keys last week, and our first stop was in Key Largo, where we booked a snorkeling trip with Captain Bob and "Snorkel the Keys." This was hands down the best experience of our vacation and worth every penny. I could go on and on about the memorable time we had on our excursion, but for purposes of brevity, I will break the review down into three prompt sections: 1) equipment/boat; 2) the snorkeling itself, and 3) Captain Bob.

First, "Snorkel the Keys" boat is a top class vessel. It is smooth on the open water, has incredibly comfortable seats with a very nice sound system (to listen to music on the way out to the reef), and was incredibly spacious. Keeping with the trend, the snorkeling equipment we used was top quality, and Captain Bob made sure that we got the right sizes to fit us! Having the personalized attention of the Captain for this snorkeling adventure was GREAT (compared to other larger snorkeling group excursions that my girlfriend and I have been on where we were in a group of 50+ people).

Second, the highlight of the trip - the snorkeling itself. Captain Bob knew of, and took us to, the perfect spots for snorkeling. The views of the reef were STUNNING! My girlfriend and I saw a vast array of fascinating and exotic fish, including but not limited to parrot fish, angelfish, grouper, blue tang fish, and triggerfish. What made it even better Captain Bob provided us with two underwater video cameras that my girlfriend and I used to capture amazing videos of all the fish we encountered. Captain Bob then downloaded the videos/photos the next day and emailed all of them to us FREE OF CHARGE!

Lastly, Captain Bob made the entire trip very enjoyable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the reef, fish, and Key Largo. So much so, that on the trip to and from the reef, Captain Bob was keen on providing us with cool factoids that we found incredibly interesting. In addition to being knowledgeable, Captain Bob was accommodating. As mentioned above, Captain Bob went above and beyond to provide my girlfriend and I with the best fitting equipment to make sure our trip was a success. Topping it all off, Captain Bob provided free snacks and refreshments during our trip as well. The personal attention received during this trip was unparalleled.

Overall, this excursion was worth every penny. Do yourself a big favor and book with Snorkel the Keys - you will not be disappointed!
