We had a wonderful time at the Key Lime Sailing Club and we aren't even sailors! The cottages take you back to old Florida and are decorated so fun! Very clean, and quaint. The staff could not be more kind or more helpful. The location was perfect! We could walk to almost everything we needed. We only used our car twice in two weeks. We loved it so much that we have already reserved our little mermaid place for next year!

Our family of 4 had an amazing stay at Key Lime Sailing Club and Cottages. The staff were so friendly and the use of sailboats made the trip exceptional. If you sail and love a laid back old Florida keys vibe this place is for you!! Our cabin was very clean and we loved the waterfront views. We already booked our return trip. My teenager loves to fish and had a blast fishing off the dock! There was a bait store in walking distance that he went to multiple times when he ran out of bait. The sunsets are breathtaking. Hidden gem especially for those who love to sail! Free use of kayaks were a huge bonus for my boys! Fire pit and good company at night if you felt like being social near the water! We saw manatees, sting ray, and a dolphin from the dock! We had an awesome trip!

We have stayed there three times. The first year we were surprised with the rustic atmosphere and the amount of junk on the property. The cottages were clean but in desperate need of an update. We went for the sailing.and thoroughly enjoyed the Catalina 22’s provided with the cottages. What a perfect sailing location. Because of the great sailing and low priced accommodations, we returned the following year. The place looked worse! More junk around the property! We returned again another two years later because it was posted online that many improvements had been made. They were right, much more junk was added to the entryway of the property. So much that you literally think you’re turning into a junkyard. People probably drive by and say, “Who the heck would stay there?” I won’t again but if you are not concerned about appearance, and just want to sail, go there. The corn hole game is rotted out, I saw two picnic tables falling apart, the firepit is falling apart and one of the docks looks like it’s about to fall in the water. Free bikes are provided but be warned, when I rode one, the front wheel fell off. It’s such a shame because the location is ideal.

We had a great visit 1/27-2/4/25. Weather allowed us to use all the features. 2 great days of sailing, kayaks multiple times. Stand up paddle boards. Fishing from the pier. Sunfish. Met some great other guests sitting around the fire pit and tiki hut. Staff was great. Room was comfortable but not modern. Pictures are accurate. Stayed in the Jungle room- nice brand new grill. This is a quaint little resort hidden away on Key Largo, bay side. For sailors, a 22 ft sailboat is included in the price. They offer on site sailing lessons for added cost. Cottages have kitchenettes, resort has kayaks and paddle boards along with water toys included. Nice peaceful place great staff.

Unlike two earlier visits, this time it didn't feel tropic: cold temperatures in combination with strong northern winds reminded me of Maine where I live and sail. |Didn't bring warm sailing gear and clothing because I expected 'Paradise'.|Can't blame anybody for lousy weather; indoors in the cottage Hideout, it was cozy, although a small breakfast table would be appreciated.|We, 2 old geezers in their seventies, had a great time: one day sailing a Cat 22 (brrrr..) no kayak through mangroves this time, one day sailing schooner America in Key West, one day a trip on the glass bottom boat in Pennekamp.|Great place, great staff, only location where you get a sailboat with your cottage along the east coast.|I like a little funky as long as it's pleasant.

A hidden gem in key largo, Florida. Sailboats, kayaks, BBQ grills and a laid back vibe. Can't ask for a more chill vacation. Stayed here 3 times and each time was very relaxing. Restaurants close by. Awesome staff. Plus Crystal clear water.

Stayed a few days at Key Lime Sailing Club on a recommendation of a friend. Although not sailors we truly enjoyed our time here. Staff and other guests were amazingly friendly. Our children enjoyed the sand toys, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing and floats. Our only regret is not having more time to check out the area. We even took a private sunset cruise...core memories were made.
