I bought kitchen cabinets from American Woodmark, and I can’t describe how disappointed I am with this company. I purchased them through Home Depot, but it has been a nightmare. First, the poor quality—issues like over-painting, not enough paint, scratches, dents, and cracks. So far, I’m on my fourth claim, and every time I have to take a multiple pictures to send them. At this point, I consider myself a cabinet specialist. No one has bothered to visit my house and do a quality check, and when I get the replacements, they’re even worse.

Kitchen were cabinets were purchased through Home Depot in Doral, FL.
The cabinets arrived and when the installer proceeded to open the first corner piece that had damage. He proceeded to open other boxes and those were all damaged. It's Christmas the whole living room and kitchen are cluttered with boxes.
Two weeks have gone by and waiting for them to be picked up.
Stay away from this brand there are a lot of complains out there about them.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a Hampton bay kitchen cabinet from this company. First, the delivery took far longer than promised through Home Depot, which delayed my entire kitchen renovation. When the cabinets finally arrived, some of them were in terrible condition. Not only were several pieces broken, but there were also key parts missing, making it impossible to assemble.

I’ve spent weeks trying to sort this out, constantly reaching out to customer service at Home Depot with little to no resolution. Every time I call, I’m met with excuses and no clear timeline for when I’ll receive the missing parts or replacements. It has been an exhausting process, and my kitchen is still incomplete for Christmas because of their lack of efficiency and care.

I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. If you value your time and money, look elsewhere. This has been a nightmare.

Everything that can go WRONG with a cabinets order will happen to you with this company.
1. First time order we received them got the wrong style of cabinets.
2. Cabinets broken - inside trades broken, unscrewed door, unscrewed drawers....
3. Poor finishing - cabinets damaged, no screws, cabinets door not holding, cabinets out of frame.
4. Glasses for door did not match, we asked for clear and received frosted and different sizes I could not even use them.
5. Very POOR Customer service. I have been complaining since day 1 about all this and they have not respond me. I'm still waiting for a tech they were going to send to fix all this and no one have ever come. 2 months now waiting.
6. Side panel for fridge was sent the wrong color.
7. Uncompleted delivered order. I was receiving cabinets for 6 weeks.
8. Inside species cabinet pull out trade was sent separately and never was meant to be install on the right cabinet since now does not fit.

NOT RECOMMENDING IT AT ALL, IF I COULD I'D GIVE THEM 0 STARS. AWFUL!

Placed a custom order through their affiliate Home Depot and the cabinets came in earlier than the eta. That was the only bonus. As we unboxed there were small imperfections that we could tolerate. However, after we installed the cabinets a few cabinets had functionality flaws that unfortunately we have to live with unless we want to rip apart the whole kitchen. We ordered two side shelves one was decent, the other so damaged and uninstallable. We informed Home Depot and they requested another. Three weeks later it came damaged same spot. Long story short we now have 4 damaged shelves, an unfinished kitchen which we started in May and molding that we never received (shipped an empty box). Requested touch up paint, received Itty bitty markers. We had designed our dream kitchen which turned into a nightmare. Very disappointed into the quality control from the distribution center as well as the representatives for the company (not Home Depot they compensated) for not ensuring we were satisfied customers.

What a mistake we made ordering through Home Depot this line of cabinets. They were white cabinets, but the bases didn’t match the doors and drawers color wise. It was almost like it was a different white kind of yellow.. poor coverage on parts of the doors, there were some areas that you could see through the white paint, there was orange peel finish, which is t desirable. damages from scratches to dings and not even plywood boxes completely, as they portrayed, particle board. We open them up and it was awful. We contacted Home Depot and the cabinet company immediately demanded a refund. We are waiting on Home Depot to schedule to come pick them up. Do not order from this company or Home Depot. Update! Home Depot took us for one for a couple of weeks after they picked up to process our refund! They held 4K for weeks! Never again

Similar story to we you else. August 2022 to current and still with an empty kitchen. Everything arrives damaged or horrific craftsmanship. Nothing to do with the shipping. There is zero customer service everything is ran through Home Depot. Long story short they should not be making cabinetry. We’re sorry we went this route.

BUYER BEWARE!
Order placed 7/1/22 through Home Depot.
Order delivery still not complete. Last item to ship 8/22/22, so they say.
Poor manufacturing,
Poor quality. Not what expected for spending more than $5,000.
Poor communications.
Had to reschedule multiple contractors multiple times due to American Woodmark’s failure to deliver as promised. Damages are tolling.
American Woodmark’s customer service has no power to work with customers, or Home Depot, for a satisfactory solution. None.
Everything is controlled by some “mystery wizard” behind the curtain with no customer service culture whatsoever.
A wake up call is required in the C-Suite!!!
