As a fellow horse owner, I really respect Charles' care for his horses and riders. He makes sure his horses are cared for and not overworked and his riders are paired with the right horse. Fun is always had with a ride that Charles hosts! Its such a nice experience to ride safe horses and be around a solid horseman. His ranch is also a great place to have an event so check it out!!

Charles is a pleasure alone! From his care of the horses, temperament, connection, back stories, personalities & all to the other aspects of his business he keeps you engaged.

Having the variety of terrain gives you the sense of so many riding experiences. From woods, fields with matured trees, gravel & dirt roads you get memories of your own past experiences coming alive 1 after the other. Beautiful photo opportunities along the way!!!

The horses were all well cared for, we arrived earlier than our time so we had the pleasure of discussions of their health & care, how much the older boy Mr. Smith ate, vets used & the type of work they do.

We were a group of 5 with various riding experience, from never ridden to years of experience. Horses were available for the various levels. The horses themselves all had core training of western, but other experience from English, to dressage & ranching.

Whether you are on the fence about trying something new, wanting to enjoy riding horses like you did years ago or just enjoy nature while connecting with a horse, you get to do it on horses that are used for kids training lessons.

Please be honest if you have ride a horse or not. Simply act as if it is the first time one is riding and sign the non disclosure agreement. Please know the ER is 30 mins away so please be safe when riding beasts. Thank you so much for your time and hope to ride with you soon.

We had an amazing time with Charles and his horses! He took us on a family trail ride, my youngest being 5, and all of us with minimal experience. He was great about communicating with us and making sure we felt ready and comfortable, and he maintained excellent communication throughout the ride. His horses are really great animals - well cared for and well trained. We felt completely at ease and enjoyed our time immensely. We will be back!

July 4th is the Independence Day of the United States. Mr. Charles, the owner of the Barton Family Ranch, organized a fireworks show. This is a particularly memorable day, a federal holiday, which commemorates the 248th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence by the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia in 1776, marking the beginning of the American people's transition into a free and powerful country.

When I first told my kids we were going to be riding horses, they thought "boring!" I have no interest in being led around by a rope in a pen. Instead, the owner, Charles, gives you as much freedom as he thinks you're ready for. Both my kids were allowed to lead their own horses on short trail rides on our very first visit. This isn't guaranteed and each rider is unique, but by the end of our visit, my kids were begging to stay longer.

We appreciate that Charles didn't treat us like another number. He loves his horses and riding and his enthusiasm shone through all our interactions. He wants you to love it as much as he does, and freedom is part of that.

Charles is absolutely amazing to work with. He gets to know you, evaluates your level and will pair you up with the right horse. He takes in to consideration your confidence level as well when pairing you with a horse as well. I highly recommend him to anyone from just starting out to experienced and looking to have some horse therapy
