I recently arrived in Tavernier from New Jersey with my boat in tow. On Sunday, February 2 I started experiencing issues with my Yamaha F 300 engine. Not knowing any boat mechanics in the area, I stopped by a boat mechanic close to our house on Monday Feb 3. They were unable to assist me in a timely fashion and recommended I contact Kyle at tactical Marine. I called Kyle that morning and he walked me through the next steps of how to get on their calendar. Thirty minutes later Nikki from tactical Marine office called to assist with next steps. On February 5 in the morning, Kyle arrived to evaluate and diagnose the problem. He was thorough in his analysis, was able to give me specifics on the problem and what part I needed to correct the problem. I was able to acquire the part, and Kyle returned later that day to install the part. Overall, both Kyle and Nikki were very professional and efficient, and so nice to work with. They turned what could’ve been a disaster into basically a non-event. I would highly recommend Tactical marine.

If you ever need to get anything done on your boat, this is who you want. I’ve already had multiple great experiences having work done. We just included now putting a brand new trolling motor. Not only does it perform well over expectations, but the rigging is impeccable!! I was worried about where the battery was going to go and they found a sweet spot to mount the battery and saved me the hassle of having to remove the head in the center console. So I was able to keep all of the space in the consul as well and it doesn’t even seem like the battery is even there. They were also able to replace my power trim seals, rigging tubes to the motors and replaced my sending unit for the fuel tank.

He’s trusted to do any work we on our Sea Chaser correctly and efficiently, so we we can get back on the water. My family and I were in town on vacation for the week in Islamorada. The day after we arrived we had some engine trouble with our boat which is when we called tactical marine. They were very responsive, picked up the the phone the first time and were happy to assist us. Kyle the owner went above and beyond on assisting us with our boat. He was extremely busy the day we reached out but instead of pushing us to the side he went out of his way to provide us with all the tools necessary to complete the very simple repair needed. Being 16 hours from home with no tools was frustrating but Kyle and tactical marine made us feel right at home with their service, hospitality, and professionalism. I highly recommend them to anyone!
