These guys are not only a pleasure to work with but the quality of their work is top notch. We had custom office doors put in and they were able to design and make exactly what I was looking for...transitional contemporary French doors that are sleek and just perfect for my house. We had a great experience with Alex Hevia and his team regarding driveway gates and a pedestrian gate. We wanted something that complements our older home, with a bit of originality and elegance, and we love the results. First class experience, from start to finish. From my initial inquiry, Alex was super responsive and the excellent communication continued until the end (this is so so rare here in Miami!). It took months(!) for us to obtain a permit (City of Miami) but Alex and Roberto eventually made it happen, and the final product is definitely of the highest quality. It looks even better than we expected and the functionality (and gate operator) is great / secure. Clean, modern, solid design; and they coordinated everything (from post digging to clean-up, electrical, and gate operator installation). You get what you pay for - and Hevia delivered. Highly recommend!

Alex was recommended to me by a builder friend to replace my stair rails in a three story home. After some trouble getting him out to give me an estimate, he finally came with his dad, took measurements, showed me some options, and said he would get back to me with a price and timeline. I told him I was getting other estimates (to keep him honest on the estimate) but I was not, and was going to use him regardless based on the recommendation.

Two weeks go by and I do not hear back, so I reach out to him to see what is going on. No answer, no call back, no text. I try again after a few days, again no response. He just ghosted me and missed out on a sure deal.

I used another recommendation, Plata Ironworks in Miami, and couldn't be happier with their service and work. But Hevia was a real disappointment.
