Decided to try this place before we leave out Sunday. We both had the blackened grouper. I had mine with veggies. There weren't many veggies. And the carrots were raw. But what little other veggies there was, was good. But the grouper was delicious. They also have a seafood shop. Will be back to grab some grouper to cook at the camper. Atmosphere was nice. We sat out near the water. Happy we stopped in.

if you’re looking for a very reasonable place to eat in Key Largo, Florida Keys the Key Largo fishery backyard café is the spot you want. A variety of seafood to choose from. You ordered it from the window. They will call you, there is no tip needed at this system so you do save money, but you are getting the freshest seafood you can ever find. They actually have the fishy boat come in unload and it goes right onto your table. Cut and Bob highly recommends Key Largo fisheries backyard Café.

So this is a trendy spot for the locals.
Problem is not self service, is that you have to carry your own food while the chowdah is 30% more expensive then anywhere else and almost half the portion then the usual portion.
Plus in their Raw Bar the bartender was just a complete ignorant that likes to chat instead of serving customers.

As my son just shared, the review is unanimous: 5 out of 5 - AMAZING!!!! And we are tough graders. The lobster bites were the best I’ve ever had and the lobster BLT was delicious (as were the tuna tacos!). Definitely check it out!

Seating limited, however most folks eat 😋 and exit within 30 - 45 mins , go run and grab that table. . Over all experience 5 🌟

Very friendly staff and good variety of fresh seafood. We bought some large stone crab claws and had a fried snapper for lunch there. Good place to have a lunch and watch the charter fisherman comes in with their catches.
