I hired Pete to make a custom simple metal frame+wood RV gate. He completed the job, but after one rain the footing came loose/gate sagged, it was dripping with rust, the locking hardware began sticking, and the wood buckled severely. After regularly checking in, he came back out and added a wheel to support the weight of the gate, but it's been a struggle trying to get him to come out to repair the other issues. I've given up and decided to finish it myself. I also keep finding myself needing to file and grind areas for clearance once or twice a month.

Unlike some of the other reviewers, he did come through and completed the job, and it was what we agreed upon. However, quality of work is very low and it only took a week until the gate started having problems. His quote was lower than other's, but if I could go back in time I would have spent an extra few hundred to have it done right.

DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN! He will take money from you and won’t do the promised work.
He took $3,000 from us as a deposit for our staircase and told us it would take 3 months but after 9 months of excuses we ended up having to hire someone else. We lost our money!
We also learned that he doesn’t have a license.
BEWARE OF THIS FRAUD!
