I have had a horrible experience with this company. I called for help as I moved into a new home and was charged $230 for just a phone call. The story changed multiple times that the service tech didn’t leave yet, then they were at my house upon checking cameras they changed the story to they were at the end of my road. I received no customer service and was treated horribly, told they had notes saying I have “history” because I called for help 2 times. One in which they offered to send a tech. Then receive high priced bills with only one.day to pay. The workers are unprofessional and don’t conduct business properly. Just want to warn people.

First experience with them was great, good customer service. Second time, got a guy who answered the phone and put me on hold, only to transfer the call to the lady who works there, to tell me we had to prepay for being late. When we went in to pay, we were never told this and when I called to get a refill and check price, the lady said they could come out and gave me a date, and still didn’t tell me about pre paying. Said I call back once I checked prices and when I called back I got this guy with a rude attitude, he put me on hold and transferred the call. Didn’t even have the decency to come back to the phone and tell me himself about pre paying. Only one time late due to a death in the family and work slowed. Bad timing YES.. and with inflation some of us are hurting. Still it was one time. If this is how they run their business, then next time let your customers know and send an email explaining this, or when you go in to pay, say something to your customer, this is how you do business. But you don’t just lay this on last minute when calling to get propane delivered, AND they still didn’t tell us on the first call. It took me calling back and getting this jerky guy putting me on hold to have the lady tell me. Maybe let people know this is how you run your business. Send a letter, send a email with the bill explaining late payments. Say something when you go into pay! There all nice to get your business at first, but if you go over too many months with late a payment, then not so nice, and no understanding whatsoever, and they don’t even explain their rules or let you know what the consequences are for being late past a certain amount of time. They sure did get there finance change along with the late payment and though! Good to know how they work. I’ll be sure to tell family and friends to go somewhere else. Get it together High Sierra. Being polite should be at all times not when it fits you! And if you put someone on hold, come back to the phone and handle the conversation you started, don’t pass it off to someone else. They sure are were nice first time to get your business.

For over forty years, we were required to utilize the services of PG&E down at "sea level" for our natural gas needs. Dozens of times, screaming at Customer Service folks......
Now we have moved to the The Sierras and have a choice in our gas needs. We decided on High Sierra Gas, and have had almost as many great experiences with the staff there. This past Winter has proven just how difficult service can be with storms, higher gas usage, etc, and the gang at High Sierra has not only been competitively priced, but also have bent over backwards to get us delivery, come storm or sunny skies.

It so nice to walk into the office and be greeted with smiles and meaningful hello’s & what can we do for you.
After last years record breaking snowfall I have even more respect for the drivers going out there wading through the snow & dragging the hose around to keep us filled at the Sierra Motel, Nichole’s Coffee & Deli & our home.
