The art is beautiful. I just visited for girls night out and some lady stopped my daughter and started interrogating her, she said there were cameras and that she put something in her pocket.. my daughter pulled out the business card for an artist out of her pocket and said this was the only thing she out in my pocket. The lady said oh OK and walked away. This place is not friendly for your kids I was appalled and pretty angry because the woman never even addressed me. I will never be going back or ever recommending this store. Very rude and unprofessional.

beautiful place to visit lots of art from so many artists up to 45 artist participated in this gallery and so many beautiful things I end up buying a vase with mesh called I love hummingbird and it's one of a kind and my husband bought a beautiful hand-painted mug by another artist. we enjoyed our visit there and of course we had free wine and refreshments while we looking at the items and gave us their wine glasses for free 🙂

Gold Country Artists Gallery has lots of different types of art from paintings to photographs to jewelry and pottery. The artists are all local and share time manning the studio. If you want high quality art, it's some of the best in the area!

Amazing art here. Something for everyone. There are acrylic pour artists, alcohol ink, watercolor paintings (my fav), glass, sculpture and more. Fun folks to talk to as well .

There are so many talented jewelry artists in the Placerville area, but one in particular stands out for me. His name is Ron Runtenelli and he has been crafting custom jewelry since the 70's. His pieces are simple and dynamic. Using polished silver, precious stones and gems, his art designs capture the beauty of the foothills.

You can find Ron 's jewelry displayed at the Gold Country Art Gallery, Placerville or call him directly and he can let you know the next event that he will be at displaying and selling his jewelry. Whether it is a gift for yourself or someone else, his jewelry pieces are something to look forward to receiving.
