I really like shopping at ACE. I like this ACE's location, their selection, the staff is wonderful (very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable), and they love my little dog, Piper. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is because the prices at ACE are pretty high and not as competitive as they could/should be. Tip: You may want to call ACE, first, to confirm that they're OPEN. The store's hours don't always match the GOOGLE listing! Example: at 6:10 pm today (Sunday, 2/23/25), ACE is closed, metal gate is across both doors. Google shows that this ACE closes at 7 pm on Sundays. Three potential customers tried to enter while my dog and I walked past. Oops!!

I was impressed with the selection of items across a wide range of categories comparable to a Lowe's or Home Depot. Some products seemed a little pricey. The layout, organization and cleanliness of the store was impeccable.

By not being a big box store they may not have everything and some things are a Lil more expensive... but especially if you just need a couple of things it is so much easier and the staff is always been very helpful...

Also and most importantly been going to Ace since I was a teenager for fasteners, need a specific bolt for a car or furniture chances are they have it!

ACE employee powered on a weed whacker (in the middle of the store for some reason?) with the line on the trimmer being too long so tiny pieces of plastic shot everywhere RIGHT as I walked by.

Also, they won't copy a key if you bring in your own blank copy despite the fact that they hardly have any blank keys of their own in stock. They want you to order the key from them then charge you over a hundred dollars for a blank key you can buy on Amazon for 7 dollars.

This is honestly a pitiful way to treat customers whether they're new or they've been shopping at ACE for 20 years like I have.

Price gouging!!! went to buy the exact same first alert carbon monoxide detector found on Amazon for $17.99 and aces price was over $60 . when I asked the associate about the discrepancy, the guy with the long braided ponytail at the help desk was patronizing and suggested that I try Discount stores.

Mateo was incredibly helpful and very patient helping us find a couple of parts to be able to place a new lamp shade on an antique lamp. We were able to inexpensively solve a problem.

Inexperienced crew at the store. Hard to get any help for any product. Asked for a product N the crew mislead me and had to return back. Amazon is the place going forward. Do not need to waste time at the store N get bad attitude for service.

Convenient location and wide enough assortment. The staff is helpful, in most cases.
Watch for a cleaning fee that might not be returned when you rent a carpet cleaner: my vacuum was perfectly clean, but someone didn't even check it and just silently withheld the cleaning fee from the final bill.
