The refrigerator has been broken for two weeks. The maintenance staff said that the compressor is broken and it will take another two weeks or more to replace the parts. I have only used this refrigerator for two years. The product quality is disappointing. My food has gone bad and I have thrown away a lot of it. I have had diarrhea for a week, which is probably related to the spoiled food. We don’t have a refrigerator to use now. We can’t buy too many things at a time. We have to go to the supermarket every day. Life has become cumbersome and increased costs. I hope to repair the refrigerator as soon as possible to rebuild my trust in the Whirlpool brand.

Used to be a renowned brand name. Now this.
I bought a fridge 5 years ago, but suddenly the fans went down. And the parts are not readily available. Call them, and was told that two fans will cost $400. Will never buy whirlpool again

Very disappointed. I made an appointment for a repair service. They canceled my first appointment on the day of the appointment. Even though I made myself available at whatever day and time frame day requested.
I made a second appointment. On the day of the appointment they called me saying that they had to change the time frame. Don’t they understand people make arrangements to be available when they ask? Don’t they understand people have jobs as well? The reason I was given for the time change was because other clients had cancelled so they were sending the technician to a different part of the town, leaving me with two options: 1) be there at the different time that I was not available (because I had already scheduled my day around the time frame they had given me), 2) reschedule!
It amazes me the lack of respect for costumers and the lack of care for honoring their own appointments. I was not the one who canceled my appointment. I was available! I made myself available! They don’t care how they treat you and all the arrangements involved when you try to make yourself available to their schedule. Very very disappointing. Do not recommend.

I can’t get anyone at the corporate office number or this location! They have The Worst Customer Experience I have ever had with an extended warranty and will Never but Whirlpool or Kitchen aid appliances again !!!

Their contraptions are garbage. Washer dryer lasted only 30 cycles and since not used much broke 1 wk after warranty up. No customer service but a maze of phone voice navigation. Stay away

I bough an oven microwave combo from KitchenAid for $4500. The microwave was working for a year but with problems. I did not call and I can't afford the extended Warranty. Now it is not working at all. It caused a fire after repairing it. KitchenAid offered to replace for $600 and then for $300. Is that reasonable? Shall I throw it in the Trash. I am very unhappy with the quality of these . I don't recommend KitchenAid at ALL

Barbara from customer service was rude and doesn’t know how to talk to people. Buying a product (washer) from Whirlpool was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made. I’ve been waiting patiently for the 21 days to get my part for my washer and Barbara say I have to wait longer. Unacceptable. If the part is not in the next thing to do and knowledgeable is to replace the washer. The washer is not even a year old. If anyone is even thinking about buying from whirlpool I would think twice.

Let me start off by saying I typically don't do this. In fact, I have never left a post on a company's page before. But I truly don't want anyone to go through what I've gone through with this company. I cannot overstate this.

In May, my wife and I moved into our condo built by Anastasi Development Co., stocked with all new Whirlpool appliances. While we haven't been particularly impressed with any of them, none have disappointed as thoroughly and painfully as our refrigerator (model WRF 540CWBM01).

Our problems started the first day of ownership, as the bottom drawer of the refrigerator froze all of our produce and the ice maker wasn't making ice. We contacted our warranty, who scheduled a repairman to come the following week. Not only did they cancel the appointment the morning of; they waited two weeks to reschedule another appointment only to cancel again! Then when they came, the repairman fixed the problem by saying "Don't put produce in the bottom drawer or else it will freeze". They came back a week later to fix the ice maker, only for it to stop working again 1 month later.

We then attempted to get a refund for the refrigerator since it was so inadequate, we were directed towards a third party appliance warranty company (WDC Appliances) who literally never emailed us back. We had to call our contact person, Rosa Von Rueden, on her cell phone only to be scolded by her for calling her on her cell (number was left on her work voicemail).

Fast forward one month, a month without any communication from Whirlpool or WDC Appliances. We sent a follow up email to Rosa requesting an explanation for the lack of communication and action on their end, only to receive silence as an answer. We sent another email 3 days later requesting an answer. Rosa sent a one line reply stating that we never requested a refund. We told her to look back on the same email thread where we requested a refund in the initial email. It took her TWO WEEKS to get back to us, and her answer was that we needed to reschedule a repair service so the repairman can diagnose the problem with the refrigerator. Apparently the first 4 appointments didn't do the trick.

They came to fix the refrigerator for the 5th time 4 days later, then scheduled a follow up appointment after that for 5 days after that. The refrigerator was finally in "perfect" working condition, 4 months after purchasing it. Which was great, but 3 months after that the ice maker stopped working AND the refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling down and now are completely warm. A repairman came 1.5 weeks ago to diagnose the problem and scheduled a follow up appointment for yesterday but surprise surprise, the appointment has been completely cancelled and the replacement part is getting shipped directly to us - estimated shipping date January 12th!

We are newly weds with limited money and limited space in our small condo, and we have had a broken refrigerator sitting in the middle of our kitchen for 7 months. We have contacted everyone in our power to contact without any resolve. Whirlpool USA has terrible, cheap products with even worse customer service. We are sorry we every trusted them with as an important of a thing as our food and home well-being. Please avoid this company at all costs, they do not deserve even the smallest business from home owners or renters.
