I found working with Paso Robles Ironworks incredibly frustrating. While the raw materials are good quality, the experience working with the design team was cumbersome, resulting in a substandard product.

Their attention to detail during the design process and fabrication meant that multiple orders had to be sent out and I still ended up with a product that lacked the finish of a custom piece (screws located on the wrong side of the rod, causing support mounts to be off center and ruining the visual appearance of the rail). I also found their response to these issues to be extremely unhelpful with no accountability taken by the owner.

In my opinion the process felt rushed and not what I expected from an expensive custom order. Wish I had gone with a local fabricator to be more involved and end up with a product I was happy with. Fundamentally, this was not worth the money or time, despite the quality of the raw material!

I ordered a large rod and all the parts that go with it for a full set of draperies. They created my order and shipped it so quickly, I was surprised to receive it ahead of schedule. Excellent quality and very reasonable pricing. I re-ordered for another rod a few days later. Extremely pleasant and helpful people that answer your questions by phone or email combined with great quality materials. What else can you ask for? Refreshing in this time where customer service seems to be missing in many businesses.
