We had to pleasure to work with Tom! In our first meeting, he was detailed of what he focuses on when shooting a wedding and provided examples from his video gallery. He is all about telling the story of your wedding day! He was very professional with us, our families, and to our church. He respected our church wishes and was not a distraction at all! He also helped me, the bride, to calm down when I was very nervous and shared his experience when he was getting married. I felt better knowing I was not alone in my nervousness and the day turned out great! He also works very well with others and was flexible with our photographers. When we got the finished product, he created a gorgeous gallery for us where all the videos are located. The gallery was very organized and easy navigate. We could also download them which makes it easier to distribute to our families who want a copy of the wedding videos! The main film is beautiful and highlights all the best moments of the wedding! Tom Gaglani was our videographer for our wedding on August 31, 2023. We chose him after seeing one of his videos on Instagram and it happened to be one at the venue we had chose - The Perry House. After watching many videos and styles we decided we liked the feel of Tom’s videos.

The process went smoothly from start to finish. Tom was very professional in communication and it was easy to schedule meetings. He listened and was receptive to the vision we had for our video.

The day of he and Felicia made everyone around feel comfortable and it never felt invasive during the day itself. They were fun and made us feel at ease.

The video itself was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. I cry every time I watch them.

As with many things that wedding planning involves, my husband and I were at first unsure about booking a videographer. We didn’t know if we needed one, and we worried that we wouldn’t find a good match. I can say, without a doubt, booking Gown and Tie Films as our wedding videographer was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

We, and our families, absolutely love our wedding film! It went above and beyond our highest expectations! Tom perfectly captured the atmosphere of Nevada City, and created a film that felt authentic to the venue, our vision, and who we are. He is a master of capturing detail shots and working them into the overall narrative, and fitting a whole wedding into a well-paced, unique and cinematic feature. The scene of us leaving the altar felt like a Wes Anderson movie (and we *love* Wes Anderson). He, and his partner, have a true cinematographer’s eye.

Not only is the final film amazing, Tom’s planning, process and creative direction were a godsend! We appreciated every pre-wedding check-in, and are so, so grateful for his exceptional professionalism, enthusiasm for videography, and genuine dedication to bringing out the best in our wedding. Tom proactively communicated with our other vendors and coordinator, and ensured that everyone was on the same page. While editing the film he sent teaser clips and song choices, and provided accurate updates on the editing process. And most importantly, throughout the whole process Tom was so supportive, so encouraging, and so kind.

Tom’s work stand’s out from the rest while still feeling natural, authentic, and genuine. He’ll capture every key moment and all the right candid ones too. You will feel comfortable in front of the camera and involved in every step. I could not have asked for a better experience nor a better wedding film, and I am so, so, so thankful!
